Description Ben Opatowski 2005-10-27 07:29:32 UTC
I'm using X Windows version 6.8.2 that came with Fedora Core 4 (FC4). When I
enter "startx" command, screen goes blank. (X Windows worked fine with all
the previous Fedora Core releases. FC4 seems to work fine except for X
windows.)
I did an "strace startx 2> /tmp/seeTrace". The trace contained the following
lines: "xinit: connection to X server lost. [{WIFEXITED(s) && WEXITSTATUS(s)
== 0)], 0) = 2366.

please attach the X log file from a failed startup.

Whats the status of this bug when using a current version of xorg?
Comment 3 Timo Jyrinki 2007-02-22 14:27:19 UTC
Marking broken (status null/blank) bugs in xorg with no activity in a long time as fixed. Please reopen if you think it's necessary, but first do a search if a similar bug report is already filed and in a NEW/ASSIGNED state. These bugs do not currently show in most search results as they do not have any status.
