I'm using X Windows version 6.8.2 that came with Fedora Core 4 (FC4). When I enter "startx" command, screen goes blank. (X Windows worked fine with all the previous Fedora Core releases. FC4 seems to work fine except for X windows.) I did an "strace startx 2> /tmp/seeTrace". The trace contained the following lines: "xinit: connection to X server lost. [{WIFEXITED(s) && WEXITSTATUS(s) == 0)], 0) = 2366.
please attach the X log file from a failed startup.
