We are planning to localize libreoffice to the sidama language found in Ethiopia. I cannot find the entry for it in Pootle or elswhere. Can you plz add it for us, so that we can start localizing on pootle? Thanks
I created language 'sid' in Pootle. Please let me know your user name in Pootle, so I can promote you to language lead, so you can start translation and give rights to your team member. Please read http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Translating_LibreOffice You can start to translate LibreOffice 3.5 UI, however, your work will be integrated only into the upcoming 3.6 version or later, depending on your progress. UI does not change heavily, so don't worry about translating an older version.
So, now you started to work in Pootle. I will add 'sid' to the source, when you have significant amount of localized strings. I'm closing this bug for now.
Thanks a lot.
