Created attachment 60719 [details] weston with nouveau in xwayland
Created attachment 60750 [details] dmesg | grep nouveau
I booted with Fedora 17 Beta LiveCD (to test something completely differn't), and it was pretty ugly with gnome-shell. For the most part I just got a big blue screen with silhouettes of gnome-shell stuff.
Not sure exactly what versions you were running, but does this still happen with the latest software (kernel/mesa)? (On the image, looks like the stride is set a bit too low somewhere.)
No idea, I don't have access to this hardware anymore
Original poster doesn't have hardware anymore, closing as invalid.
Hi, I still have the hardware in case the Nouveau developers want to fix the bug. I filed a bug report when I ran GeForce 6150 on Ubuntu 10.04 long time ago. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/976434 Regards, fpgahardwareengineer
