Description Harry 2012-05-06 04:05:37 UTC
Problem description (steps to reproduce and current behavior):
Several problems with tables:

When selecting several cells and edit via right mouse -> table, the borders are messed up. In the dialog no borders are set. If I just open the dialog and press ok, all borders for the selected cells are removed.

Creating a table, the font is set to Arial 18. I changed it (via right mouse -> table) to Linux Libertine 10. Now I enter some values and copy and paste the complete table. In the copied table I edit an entry. If I delete all characters, the font is changed back to Arial 18, destroing the hight of the row.

If the cell top right is merged with the cell left to it and the borders of the whole table are set to borders between cells and no borders at the table edge, the merged cell ends up with a border on the right (at the edge of the table).

Undo seems to not work properly when editing text in table cells. Maybe this has also to do with using different fonts.
Following text is in the cell: "Text (AB*CD*EF)" where * is a point in font StarSymbol 10pt, everything else is Linux Libertine 10pt. Placing the cursor behind 'F', pressing backspace two times and entering GH leads to the new characters entered in StarSymbol (thats ok so far). Pressing Ctrl-Z leads to ..."*EGH) " where GH is now in Linux Libertine 10pt and the ')' and the space is in font Linux Libertine Capitals 14pt. The space was not there before. Pressing Ctrl-Z a second time will result to ..."EFGH) ".

Harry,

could you please clarify if it's about presentation (Impress) or spreasheet (Calc)?
