I didn't find a Bugzilla product suitable for reporting bugs in  
desktop-file-utils.  Shouldn't it have a product of its own?  (Or product 
"menus", component desktop-file-utils.)

can't create a product without a default owner...

No progress here, it seems :(  Some recent commits at 
http://webcvs.freedesktop.org/menus/desktop-file-utils/src/?sortby=date 
show "halfline" and "mark", perhaps one of those would be suitable as default 
owners?

Should be fixed now. I added Vincent as the default owner.
