Description Adam Jackson 2005-11-18 10:48:08 UTC
We can not load X without libbitmap.so. It is a loadable module for some
reason. This is moronic.
Comment 1 Daniel Stone 2005-11-21 09:18:28 UTC
and pcidata too! woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Comment 2 Adam Jackson 2006-02-14 18:37:26 UTC
i am told at least for libbitmap that we will soon have the ability to transform
from bdf/pcf to truetype and back losslessly, meaning we can drop the libbitmap
pretense altogether and just link against libXfont. yay!
Comment 3 Adam Jackson 2006-06-01 12:41:07 UTC
even better, the module callbacks set up by libbitmap.so are NEVER CALLED.
nuked with extreme prejudice.

i'll deal with pcidata separately.
