Description Adam Jackson 2005-11-18 11:02:44 UTC
Which is really great since it means you have to create an entire config file
even if you're only out to change the DRI device permissions.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.

This is partially fixed by David Nusinow in 1.4 & even more in git master,
but more work remains.

1.4 no longer requires listing FontPath or modules to load.

post-1.4-git adds:
Allow the user to not have a screen section
Don't require that the screen explicitly attach the device section
Comment 3 David Nusinow 2007-11-21 21:01:49 UTC
I've got plans to finish this. There's still a few more things left to finish though.
Comment 4 Alan Coopersmith 2009-09-01 07:35:16 UTC
Is there anything left to fix now? I've successfully used xorg.conf
files with a single ServerOption flag in with Xorg 1.6.
Comment 5 Adam Jackson 2010-05-06 13:36:32 UTC
This is fixed thanks to xorg.conf.d
