tested on windows 7 - 64 create a new directory in your computer an create a new writer-file (that is not stored as write-protected). write-protect the file(s) in that directory by win7-explorer (set the attribute write protected to all the files by the operation-system) read in the write protected file with writer, the file is not editable, thats good. write the file under a new name with writer. under 3.5.6 you are now able to edit the new file. not with 3.6: the writer-file remains write protected. you have to close the writer-file and to reopen it, now it is editable. i think thats a bug, no feature. thank you Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. .... 2. .... 3. .... the bug was sent not knowing that there is a input button for to change to writeable. touching this button the document is writable, it can be stored under a new name. so there is no bug but a (very good) feature. please excuse me for not knowing the button.
