Problem description: 

libreoffice x.docx    # correct 
mv x.docx x.doc
libreoffice x.doc     # error in format , no help
                      #  not friendly

  I had been surprised when libreoffice does not open a file which name
has changed from  x.docx   to  doc.x
  Perhaps it is not a bug,
  but it is not user friendly.
