Though the patch provided in the PR is a workaround, I believe that this
detection of a new DDC type (5) is a bug, given that I'm seeing it on my laptop
whereas before I was getting type 2.  So, I'm marking this as dupe of 3869,
which hopefully we can resolve soon.
