Debug log from telepathy-gabble

When I try to connect with my jabber account to the server I get the following warning:

The identity provided by the chat server cannot be verified.
The certificate is self-signed.

However this is not true, the certificate is valid and I also have the corresponding CA certificate installed in my system.

Telepathy-gabble is a git checkout of the telepathy-gabble-0.16 branch from today (last commit f88ae541292e0ff4abd9214bef4c7b99a55dc4e9).

I did enable debugging but couldn't find any problem in the log. The log was obtained using this command and I will also attach it to the bug report:
$ G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all GABBLE_LOGFILE=/tmp/gabble.log GABBLE_PERSIST=1 GABBLE_DEBUG=all WOCKY_DEBUG=all ./src/telepathy-gabble

I also tried with some other jabber accounts/servers, but I always get this error message.

Here is also a link to a Debian bug report about the same issue: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=639667
