Description Zoltán Hegedüs 2012-07-30 11:55:29 UTC
For example: gsdf hdghjh
Windows XP Home SP3, I set the language of the text to Hungarian.
The memory was NOT full (after exiting, 821 MB is used from 1024 MB).

Same issue? :

After upgrading from 3.5.5 release to 3.6.0 release, my (german) autocorrection was gone, so I checked Extensions. English was bad but german looked good, yet was not selectable as language in spelling settings, so I installed http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/german-de-de-frami-dictionaries which brought back autocorrection (german).

See attachment that I'll upload ist now.

Questions:
1. Do you have Hungarian dictionary installed and enabled?
2. Is it custom install of LibreOffice?
3. Did you try to do fresh install with renamed User Profile (see http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile)?

At now, I have 3.5.7 release. I downloaded this from hu.libreoffice.org. I am not remember that I used default installation, or custom, when I am not checked any part of the program to not install, only I completed the user interface with some languages.

This error is not in this, but there is an another: in webmail, I copied the example text "gsdf hdghjh"+newline to the clipboard. In the Writer, when I use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V, the all is OK, but if I use Ctrl+V, the Writer halts: I see only the sand-glass, and if I click, the "(not answering)" (in Hungarian) appended to the title of the window. This may be an infinite loop.

Hungarian dictionary installed and enabled as default, I did not modify.
I will install 3.6.5 release what is expedted for the next week.

3.6.5.2: the gramar/spelling checker is OK, but inserting a text with Ctrl+V from a web browser (a formatted text), it takes about a minute, for example short texts like "gsdf hdghjh". With Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V, there is no error.

I did not try, but the error is not in the newer versions. But there is an another error, see my previous comments.

>Error with LibO 4?
The newbies of version 4 are not require for me, so the newest version 4.0.3 is a beta version for me. For me, only 4.0.5 will be a relese version. And I install only what I regard a release.
Comment 8 Florian Reisinger 2013-05-30 14:24:01 UTC
Would you please install a portable version for testing this issue http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/portable/4.0.3/ "Install" into a subdolder @ desktop, after testing delete this folder....

Marking as RESOLVED WORKSFORME as the spelling issue is gone.
As for other bugs - please file new separate bug reports. General rule is 1 bug = 1 report.

You could help the development of LibreOffice by installing alfa and beta versions of next planned stable release. The sooner the bug is found and filed, the better is a chance that it will be fixed. As you can read in https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan only 6 bugfix releases are planned for each branch. So when you are getting on the train in 4.0.5, there is only one potential bugfix release for you left.
