Problem description: I have long relied on LO creating hyperlinks in tables of contents linked to the sections of the document. This stopped working a few updates ago. In the past I always had to edit the table of contents and add the codes to begin and end the hyperlink. Now the tags are already there, but they no longer work. Adding new ones also does not create a new hyperlink. There is no mechanism in LO to remove tags, so I could not try deleting and re-inserting. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a document with various Header style paragraphs. 2. Insert menu > Indexes and Tables > Indexes and Tables > Index/Table tab, type = Table of contents. 3. Entries tab, click before "E#". 4. Click Hyperlink button. 5. Click after "E". 6. Click Hyperlink button. (These last 4 steps are really not needed, as the hyperlink codes are already present for me, but if not present, these steps would be required.) 7. Click OK. Current behavior: The table of contents is created, but no hyperlinks are created. Expected behavior: Each table of contents entry should have a hyperlink to the section it relates to. Platform (if different from the browser): Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_4) AppleWebKit/536.25 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0 Safari/536.25
I do not reproduce with LO 3.5.5.3 under Ubuntu 11.10. Please attach a document which shows the problem. Best regards. JBF
Created attachment 65011 [details] File with outline and table of contents Looking at the example file I see that the problem is different than I thought. It seems that hyperlinks are created, but they are invisible, and do not work with a click, but require a Command/Control-click to work. Very odd change of behavior that I'm very unenthusiastic about.

You can change this behavior : Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Security > button Options > last checkbox Feel free to reopen if needed. Best regards. JBF
