Created attachment 65329 [details] "network error" message I downloaded and installed 3.6.0 release XPI on top of previously installed 3.5.5 release. Seemed OK, installer finished without error. However, my first start of the new version was through "opening" a ODT file from Windows Explorer. I renamed the installer (to add ".4" to the version and archived it. Later I recognized that the german spelling is missing (was there in 3.5.5). So I (re)started the (renamed) installer, chose "Repair" and got the attached error message. Renaming the file to its original name shown in the error message resolved the issue. Renaming the installer should have no influence on its functioning, i.e. it's name should not be hardcoded in it.
I do not think that this is a LibO Bug. Repair needs the original xxx.msi at it's place where it was when you did installation. If you remove or rename the .msi The WIN System has no base for Repair or install additional features or whatever. So INVALID for now. @reporter: You can get assistance on <http://ask.libreoffice.org/questions/> or on the public users mailing list <users@libreoffice.org>, a mailing list from <http://www.documentfoundation.org/contribution/#lists> or <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Local_Mailing_Lists> Please feel free to reopen this Bug if discussion with othe userss leaded to an assessment that we have a LibO bug and a clear and comprehensible description of the problem due to <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport>.
OK, sorry, there seems to be a difference between EXE Setup and MSI Setup files.
> there seems to be a difference between EXE Setup and MSI Setup Yes, so it is. setup.exe will unpack lots of contents (you always have been asked to where that should be unpacked) remaining after installation, an for those unpacked contents you have the same rule as for the xxx.msi, you may not rename or move that installation contents.
