There are rendering problems in Sacred Gold with Radeon (4200) and Nvidia (8200). Running Debian GNU/Linux testing+unstable amd64, mesa 8.0.4, glx-diversions 0.2.20 (and 0.2.90), libdrm2 2.4.33, xorg 7.7+1, xserver 1.12.3, radeon 6.14.4, nouveau 1.0.1, kernel 3.2.21. On Radeon the floor texture is flickering. I see either (1) only floor, or (2) everything. Screenshot of (1): http://uppix.net/7/1/f/dc559712958210f8fe37626fa867c.png Screenshot of (2): http://uppix.net/d/b/9/25683044abfcdc575fca68c44a7a8.png On Nvidia there is no floor texture. Screenshot: http://uppix.net/f/9/0/06b6092f2c2de228a147af5c15c94.png I tried default xorg.conf and tried to play with some options. No result. With these video cards and drivers I hadn't experienced any rendering problems in other games (darkplaces, warsow, quake3).

Can you try updated 3D drivers from mesa git?
OK, I'll try.
I found that this problem is related to conflict between amd64 and i386. Sacred Gold is i386, so running on amd64 with open drivers causes this problem. I tried to install i386 librares (with Debian multiarch), and it really solves the problem. Unfortunately, new problem arises -- everything renders correctly, but there's no text at all (menu, speech, items exlanation, etc.). The bug report is closed.
