Using colord-0.1.22.tar.xz At the bottom of this page : http://www.freedesktop.org/software/colord/faq.html it states "Since version 0.1.12 (released August 2011) colord runs as the colord user, not root ...." However, the configure script sets daemon_user to 'root' not 'colord' by default. Someone may want to leave the faq.html as is. But make the configure script check for a 'colord' user, display a warning if there isn't one, then default to user 'root'.
