Description Brueckner Patrick 2005-12-21 22:58:27 UTC
hello,
im having troubles with my Radeon IGP 340M.
When I have display illumination set to lowest level, it will flicker
lighter/darker all the time. since i'm running a lot on battery power, this is
really annoying.

im using xorg (on ubuntu linux / dapper/unstable)

ii xorg-common 6.8.2-77
    X Window System (X.Org) infrastructure
ii xserver-xorg-driver-ati 6.5.7.2-0ubuntu1
    X.Org X server -- ATI display driver

using a standard config:

Section "Device"
Identifier "ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon 330M/340M/350M (RS200 IGP)"
        Driver "ati"
        BusID "PCI:1:5:0"
EndSection

i think this is a bug.

Is this still an issue using a current version of xorg?
Comment 2 Timo Jyrinki 2007-02-22 14:28:07 UTC
Marking broken (status null/blank) bugs in xorg with no activity in a long time as fixed. Please reopen if you think it's necessary, but first do a search if a similar bug report is already filed and in a NEW/ASSIGNED state. These bugs do not currently show in most search results as they do not have any status.
