Created attachment 66440 [details] Task Manager Open Windows Explorer (all other programs are closed). Double click on any file that should open with LibreOffice. Result: multiple instances of soffice.exe or scalc.exe or whatever module is called. But when the file is loaded through LibreOffice (File/Open), it works fine. This happens every time, and has done so since I started using LibreOffice, and does the same on my wife's Windows laptop. Attached (and following) are screenshots of Task Manager and System Info.

Created attachment 66446 [details] System Memory-5 Should be Memory-4. This is to correct a simple typo error when uploading file 3.
When using LiO 3.6.1.2 (Build ID: e29a214) on my Windows 7 machine I may have discovered a software conflict. I was trying to open a CSV file by double clicking it. I've been fighting with the bug for a LONG time. It happens whenever I DON'T use the LiO File/Open interface, but double-click on a file from another program (mail, Explorer, etc.). In other words, I cannot open any LiO file just by double clicking it. What happens? Many instances of Soffice.exe or Scalc.exe (depending on the file) open. Instances continue to open, so I have to reboot to stop them. Well, this morning I also found many instances of TUAutoReactivatr64.exe, related to an installed program called Tune-Up (www.tune-up.com). Maybe this will help my problem.
Hi Phillip, is that still happen with LO 4.0.4.2 or 3.6.7.2? If that still happen, could you explain exact steps to always reproduce the problem? Quickstart enabled?

So we can close this bug. Please REOPENED this bug if that problem reappear.
