Description Fabian Zeindl 2005-12-30 00:46:03 UTC
Hi

When hal is started and my laptop lid is open, button.state.value from
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/acpi_LID is "true" which normally signals that it
is closed. When I close it and open it again once the values are set correctly.

I have an Acer Travelmate 243LC

greetings

What say: 'cat /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID/state' or 'cat /proc/acpi/button/lid/*/
*'
Comment 2 Fabian Zeindl 2006-01-10 22:05:48 UTC
Hm, that says "closed" to. So it's an error in the ACPI implementation?

greetings

Yes, this looks like a problem with the ACPI implementation/DSDT of you machine.

Hm, and do you know where I can report this?
