For some reason every program that uses DejaVu fonts displays blank page. 

I'm using DejaVu fonts for years and I have never run into such a problem. A few days ago DejaVu fonts stop working on my PC and laptop. Installing the most recent (2.33) version didn't solve the problem.

What operating system? Which version?
Does this occur in every application?
If it stopped working a few days ago what could have changed?

Both PCs have Windows XP SP3.
Yes, it occurs in every application.

As to the third question - at the moment I'm not sure what have happened. Maybe Windows installed some update which revealed a bug in DejaVu fonts? That was my first idea, but now I would guess it's Windows' bug. The strange thing is the problem occurred at the same time on my PC and laptop.

The only coherent explanation that comes to my mind is that I've copied new version of DejaVu fonts to Windows fonts directories of both computers previously bringing them back from hibernation. After restart everything was back to normal. So in fact it means there is a bug in Windows not in DejaVu fonts.
