Description Tanu Kaskinen 2012-10-05 08:01:29 UTC
If skip-probe is enabled, the profile is marked as supported. This will cause pa_alsa_profile_set_probe() to skip all probing for that profile. Currently ports are created within the probing code, so if skip-probe is enabled, no ports will be created.
Comment 1 Tanu Kaskinen 2012-10-05 08:03:41 UTC
Correction: paths are created in the probing code, not ports. The end result is the same anyway, since ports are created based on the paths.
