Bug detailed description:
-------------------------
   On IVB/HSW platform ,running I-G-T/testdisplay with command "testdisplay -p 1000,1000,0,0,1000,1000", the mode 1400x1050 and 1366x768 fail to show the correctly screen. I attach the dmesg and the screen shots.

With DP and HDMI and VGA all have this issue.

ILK machine(x-pk1) also have this issue. 
running I-G-T/testdisplay with command "testdisplay -p 100,100,0,0,100,100", the mode 1400x1050 and 1366x768 fail to show the correctly screen.

Test with this kernel, SNB machine also have this problem.
