Description Peter Quiring 2006-01-16 03:51:11 UTC
The driver for i386 works, but when using the same version but in 64bit mode
(x86_64) the driver just blanks the screen. System doesn't crash but there is
no video signal (monitor is in power save mode).
Monitor is a Relisys RE 786.
Video Card is ATI Radeon X800 XL AGP.
I'm trying to install Fedora Core 5 test(rawhide).

This is the anaconda crash log during install.

I can't install Fedora Core because of an anaconda bug currently. So hopefully
their crash log (which is not your problem) will help you to get a little more
info on the X11 issue I'm having. The card looks like it's a secondary card
and the primary card is wierd.
If/when I can fully install FC I'll try and get your log file.

Thanks.

Any update on this bug? What about trying FC5?
Comment 4 Peter Quiring 2006-04-21 09:48:27 UTC
It works in FC5 final release! Horray!
