Hi all. Running a brand new install, Debian Testing (Etch) just got the newest copy of cairo through cvs. Compiled and installed brand new libtool and automake, yet ./autogen.sh keeps spitting out errors. I'm not able to do anything and I'm a novice Linux user. Here is the output: airfoil:/home/duckdown/gtk/cairo/cairo# libtoolize --version libtoolize (GNU libtool 1.2245 2006/01/13 10:07:33) 2.1a Written by Gary V. As of June, 7th 2006, cairo can be compiled without such trouble... Please ask help in a forum or mailing list, because this seem to be a problem local to your configuration, and not a bug. Your report is 5 months old, so I think I can close this bug. You're still welcome to report bugs.
