Created attachment 69051 [details] Conditional formatting gets lost when opened. Works with OpenOffice though. A spreadsheet created with LibreOffice 3.6.2.2 loses conditional formatting when re-opened. In the attached (test) file, most cells seem to be affected. In the file I originally found this bug, conditional formatting is only lost in more recent cells (starting at row 699 with made me think the number of conditionally formatted cells might be limited). When I copy the formatting of other cells it works as it should, but only until the file is opened the next time. The problem seems to occur while loading the file, because it is saved correctly - I found the correct formatting in content.xml and if opened in OpenOffice (3.2.0) it works as well. The test file contains one column with random numbers and conditional formatting for three different colors which I repeated for several hundred rows. Then I saved the file and could reproduce the error. If the file is saved again after opening it in LibreOffice (without restoring the formatting manually), conditional formatting is removed completely - also when viewed with OpenOffice. Another test revealed that this bug occurs even with just 15 cells in the speadsheet. Now I realized that the only cell still working was A3 which is the one I manually set the format in the first place and then replicated it by dragging the black corner up and down.
Can you please attach the original file that has never been saved with 3.6? As soon as the file is saved with 3-6 it will have these problems.
I'm sorry, but I can't attach the original file because it contains sensitive data. Because of this bug I used OpenOffice to reformat my document (and redesigned some charts) and afterwards was unable to open the file in LibreOffice at all. Today I updated to LibreOffice Portable 3.6.3.2 (Build ID: 58f22d5) which can open the file again. All the conditional formatting created by OpenOffice is displayed correctly in LibreOffice even after saving and reopening the file - but when I copy any such field to an emtpy cell, the new conditional formatting will not be saved.
> All the conditional formatting created by OpenOffice is displayed correctly > in LibreOffice even after saving and reopening the file - but when I copy > any such field to an emtpy cell, the new conditional formatting will not be > saved. This problem has been fixed recently.
This is not a valid bug report and the reported problem "looses CF after save / reopen) is not reproducible for me with reporter's sample an with Server Installation of "LibreOffice 3.6.2.1 release” English UI/ German Locale [Build-ID: da8c1e6] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) or with "LibreOffice 3.6.3.2" German UI/ German Locale [Build-ID: 58f22d5] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit). May be reporter's problem is the one of "Bug 56316 - EDITING: CONDITIONAL FORMATTING not included in copy-paste cell"? @sponkspam: Please feel free to - Mark this one as SUP of Bug 56316 if your problem is the same one - reopen this one this bug if you find out that the problem still exists with the current stable LibreOffice version and is not a DUP of an other Bug and if you can contribute complrehensible information due to <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> (especially BugReport Details)! Please do not write long stories, but a short numbered list with a clear description an other user has to do to reproduce your problem.
