hello, commit e0c04ca1ff6e795f2144aeb0a8b5db305dbdc6f0 " Sometimes we fail to get a EDID from a VGA monitor but a real display is attached. In this case we look to see if a vblank is raised by the analog monitor and report it as detected " does not correct my problem. HP R510 / Via VX900 ( no drm module )
Let me guess. Are you using DVI-A or DVI in general?
HP T510 has two dvi port : dvi-i dvi-d , same issue with two port. log shows VGA-1 disconnected. I also test with an other thin client ( impact itium ) with same VX900 via chipset, same monitor, without problem.
Created attachment 72354 [details] [review] Enable TDMS support Can you try this patch just to see if it works. For some people this works perfectly but others see distorted screens.
Hello, sorry for this delay last git + patch does not change anything for my configuration : Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 320 x 200, maximum 4095 x 4095 VGA-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) DP-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) Regards, Nicolas Prochazka.

(In reply to comment #6) > Created attachment 73087 [details] > X.log With an other thin client, last git + patch correct the problem but starting X , runs in blink white screen. Regards, Nicolas Prochazka.
Sorry it has been a long time. The last month we have added HDMI/DVI support using the new drm driver we have. Can you try it out and tell me the results. http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Openchrome/TtmGemKms If you have questions I will galdly help you.
If you are using HP T510 thin client, please use the latest OpenChrome Git repository code. (Version 0.5.181) You should be able to use DVI-I's analog and DVI. DVI-D appears to come through VX900 chipset's HDMI / DVI block, and the current OpenChrome DDX UMS code does not have the necessary code to support this hardware. I plan to back port HDMI code to OpenChrome DDX UMS code in the future. For now, I will be closing the bug report.
