Backtrace for Darkest of Days

This is my first freedesktop.org bug and have filled bugs before for wine
Starting the game and pressing "New Game" makes it crash.

The demo is available to download so you can reproduce this bug.
Comment 2 Andrew Millington 2012-11-18 09:05:45 UTC
Filled in all the information the best I can do.
Comment 3 Eric Anholt 2012-11-30 06:58:59 UTC
If you can capture an apitrace that reproduces the problem, that would simplify working on it.

(generally, the pain of dealing with apps under wine is enough that we just never get around to looking at those issues)

Keeping the old log for refence
Comment 5 Andrew Millington 2012-12-29 06:26:03 UTC
I forgot to mention that I didn't even get to the main screen and I'm trying to figure how to install apitrace because I cannot find a binary version.

~/apitrace/build/apitrace trace --api=gl --output=/home/andrew/apitrace/trace.txt wine darkestofdays.exe

and I noticed

ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/andrew/apitrace/build/wrappers/glxtrace.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.

My guess is that means apitrace is 64-bit and wine / the game is 32-bit.

~/apitrace/build/apitrace trace --api=gl ~/wine-git/wine darkestofdays.exe

Not sure if this is going to be of use.
Running on a fresh x86 Ubuntu installation using xorg-edgers ppa.
Comment 9 Eric Anholt 2013-02-06 23:45:54 UTC
Does the trace you attached reproduce the problem when you replay it in apitrace? It doesn't here on my IVB system -- we would also probably need the information recommended by https://01.org/linuxgraphics/documentation/how-report-bugs-0 to do much with this.
