Description bgz.10.solenopsis 2012-11-23 01:57:21 UTC
Using LO 3.6.3 under WinXP SP3, when I "Export as PDF" a simple text from Writer, the resulting PDF when opened in Adobe Reader XI hides the menu bar in Reader and there is no way to make the menu bar appear. This, even though the option to "hide menu bar" in LO's "Export as PDF" dialog box is NOT checked.

Conversely, when I "Export as PDF" but this time with the checkbox for hybrid ODF unchecked, the resulting PDF opens fine in Acrobat Reader XI, with menu bar and toolbar visible in the normal way.

not reproducible with LO 4.0.2.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit)

Does this issue still persist for you with the latest release of LO? If not, then I would propose to close this bug report.

Well I'll be...!

Whatever you did to fix it, it's worked. Export to PDF... > General > Checkmark in "Embedded Open Document file" > The menu bar now does show.

LO 4.0.2.2, Adobe Reader 11.0.2, Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Marking this RESOLVED FIXED.

Thank you for your good work!
