Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Upgraded, searched the web, see about renaming the bundled folder. did that.
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:
Still not working.

Expected behavior:
Spell check to find incorrectly spelled words.

Operating System: Linux (Other)
Last worked in: 3.4.1 release
Comment 1 Michael Stahl (allotropia) 2012-12-12 18:51:03 UTC
seems to work fine here with LO 3.5.4.

can you check in "Tools->Extension Manager..." that you have
a dictionary extension installed for the language you
want to check, such as "English spelling dictionaries..." ?

also check whether the Language of the text you enter is what you
would expect (e.g. in status bar in Writer, third item from the left)
Comment 2 Stephen Dawson 2012-12-12 20:33:27 UTC
A complete restart of the system, and now the expected end result is happening.

So, this rename the folder thing works......but, it takes a complete restart? for Linux Min 13, that really seems odd.

Thanks!
