Description Ortwin Glück 2012-12-28 10:29:09 UTC
This new driver version causes my laptop to randomly power off (3 times within 2 hours). No such behaviour with 2.20.15. It happened when using Firefox (no flash video) and when using the Eclipse IDE (editing). No games or anything. Screen freezes / goes black with vertical green pixels on the left, then laptop powers off.

Try again without rc6=7 (only rc6=1 is supported by your hw, and even that is a bit broken on some machines). Then attach an Xorg.0.log and dmesg.

Yes, seems to fix it. Thank you!
