Hi,

could you please implement first page header functionality for Writer when using the ODT format?

Microsoft Word 2007 and up have a checkbox, which, if checked, creates a different header (and perhaps footer) for the first page only (and the last page if the user wishes, by a different checkbox). This only works when using the .docx file format, I believe.

I use Linux at home and I cannot hence get a screenshot of Word demonstrating this feature, but this is an important feature to me.

Regards,

Yannis.

It'll be available in LibreOffice 4.0. See release notes: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/4.0#Writer

Allow different header and footer on the first page without using a separate page style. For more details, see this blog entry. (Miklós Vajna)
