Would be very helpful for use of the LibreOffice Bug Submission Assistant web portal if an ACCESSIBILITY sub-component could be established for the generic LibreOffice component. Currently only the UI component has an entry for a ACCESSIBILITY sub-component and submitters often report accessibility issues with the affected component without flagging. Accessibility issues get lost. Adding ACCESSIBILITY: as a sub-component for ALL LibreOffice components might be warranted, but at a minimum adding it to the generic LibreOffice would help assure that accessibility issues submitted via the BSA by inexperienced reportes can be identified and triaged in a timely fashion. If we agree make this change to the BSA, will follow-up with the Accessibility ML and find a suitable location for inclusion in Wiki.
We have to be careful that submitters realize that the "Accessibility" tag is for physical accessibilities. I remember that when I first joined the project I wondered why a list for accessibilities was needed and it was only later [*blush*] that someone corrected me and filled me in about this. So, I wonder it there is a way to warn a user submitting an accessibitly bug that accessibility means for physical accessibility. Marc
I don't think it would be good. The LibreOffice is a last result people use and therefore won't find that sub-component. Please create a discussion on the qa-list about this to see what other people think. When a discussion is made this can be changed in the correct wiki-page and with a new make of BSA it should be solved then.
Now news for over 3 months. Setting to INVALID. If this has been discussed on Mailing-List already, and found to be useful, please re-open.
