Description Erwan Le Pennec 2013-02-07 10:49:55 UTC
Dear all,

I'm a Fedora 17 user using the testing repository. I've been hit by an issue with the version 2.20.18. With this driver, the display becomes much slower and the process Xorg uses up to 100 % of the CPU most of the time. Reverting to the previous version 2.20.16 solves the issue.

To be more specific, my laptop is a Dell Latitude 2120 equipped with an
Intel Corporation N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02). My xorg server version is 1.12.4. The issue is present whether I'm using the latest kernel 3.7.5 or an older version such as 3.6.11. At least another one suffers from this issue as explained in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=903319 where you could find a much more detailed report.

Feel free to ask me for more information if required.

   Yours,

       Erwan

Fixed in libdrm-intel-2.4.41.
