Error message

Problem description:

In the very first time opening Bugzilla in browser,
I see message:
"It seems there is a problem to connect with Bugzilla. Please try again later.".

But this message is mislead, because I only need to refresh page and I will see normal login screen. This bug appearsonly once for current browser. If you close browser and then open Bugzilla second time, it will show login screen.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have newly installed browser, with wicth never entered LibreOffice Bugzilla.
2. In it open Bugzilla via LibreOffice Help meniu (for ex., https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/?LOversion=4.0.0.3&LOlocale=lt&LOmodule=TextDocument)

Current behavior:
message:
"It seems there is a problem to connect with Bugzilla. Please try again later."

Expected behavior:
Login screen

Operating System: All
Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ Master

I have seen this in the past when google chrome was used, not sure if this
is a browser issue, or a bug in bugzilla which was upgraded on migration to
the new server.

Steps to reproduce should say:

* clear all caches and history
* go to libreoffice.org->Get Help->Bug

I can confirm this on FF and Chromium.

Changin this item to New.

...and for Opera browser also.
This bug is very disapoiting for users, who at very first time found a bug and try to help to to enhance LibreOffice.
Comment 5 opensuse.lietuviu.kalba 2013-02-14 13:06:23 UTC
Quick trick:

please add recommendation (in error message) to RELOAD page by pressing F5 or Ctrl+R.
If it does not help - you can provide (in the same message) direct link to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/

Bug still exist
Comment 7 retired 2013-06-04 19:52:51 UTC
Since this was assigned today just a quick heads-up:

I can confirm this is still valid with Firefox 23a2 when visiting https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ .
Comment 8 beimaginativeegroup 2013-06-06 16:16:13 UTC
I have updated the error to include the Reload tip. Resetting as NEW for someone to try and fix the underlying problem.
Comment 9 retired 2013-07-21 11:33:04 UTC
Have tested this with latest FirefoxAurora, latest WebKit nightly and Chromium. Login, remove all cookies, login etc pp.

Can no longer reproduce this problem.

Setting to WORKSFORME.

There have been quite a few updates lately to the BugzillaSubmissionAssistant. Maybe this has been fixed.

Should this re-appear for anybody, please re-open this bug.
