desktop-file-validate accepts only one desktop file argument -- by looking at the code I see this is intentional, however I cannot come up with a reason why it would make sense to explicitly disallow multiple desktop file arguments. It'd be convenient to be able to do "desktop-file-validate /usr/share/applications/*.desktop" etc.
