Problem description: Running OpenSUSE 12.2 I have a problem with LibreOffice 4.0.x from the "Unstable" repo: it will open files file locally, but not any ODF files on a mounted drive, DOC files will open however--any suggestions? This happens from launching from Nautilus or LibreOffice. I can open any file on my Desktop (.ie. I can drag a file from nautilus to the desktop and then open it.). I get a "General Error" that it is unable to open any of these files. When I switched back to 3.6.4 the problem is gone. Steps to reproduce: 1. Navigate to a directory in a mounted drive 2. Click to open a ODT/ODS/ODG file 3. LibreOffice prompts to recover the file Current behavior: Either way it responds with a "General Error" and not able to open. Expected behavior: File opens and displays. Operating System: openSUSE Version: 4.0.0.3 release
Exact same problem here while opening odf files on smb mounts, with fedora 18 and libreoffice release, Version 4.0.0.3 (Build ID: 7545bee9c2a0782548772a21bc84a9dcc583b89). Non odf files are opened here as well. Opening ODFs on SMB mounts I get thi error sequence: ====ERROR1==== Impossibile aprire il file 'KO adsl modena.ods' in quanto è danneggiato. ====ERROR3==== Errore generale
Yes, I should mention it is cifs mounts that I find this problem.
I just updated LibreOffice, and my ODF files will open now. I'm running: libreoffice-4.0.1.1-2.1.i586
(In reply to comment #3) > I just updated LibreOffice, and my ODF files will open now. > > I'm running: libreoffice-4.0.1.1-2.1.i586 So we can mark this bug as RESOLVED WORKSFORME? Kind regards, Joren
Yes, I believe this is resolved, it has not occurred again for me.
