Xvfb from the Debian-packaged version of X.org 6.9 (6.9.0.dfsg.1-4) consistently receives a SIGSEGV when running any of x11perf's -aa4trap tests. The -aa1trap tests are fine. This bug happens at 8-bit, 16-bit, and 24-bit color depths, and seems to be screen-size independent. X.org 6.8.2 didn't have this problem, at least in the Debian packages. The sane-looking part of the backtrace follows. Unfortunately I don't have a copy with debugging symbols handy. #1 0x080af8bb in fbRestoreAreas () #2 0x080b4184 in fbRestoreAreas () #3 0x080a0769 in fbComposite () #4 0x080f51c1 in miWideDash () #5 0x0816487d in miCompositeRects () I don't care much about this bug since I'm only trying to test Xlib performance and I'll just skip those tests, but I wanted to make sure to get a bug report filed.
Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
