currently in Weston, if a fullscreen application hangs, or misbehaves there seems to be no way to escape from it. My suggestion is that perhaps the shell should defocus the hung fullscreen application, and give focus to the panel? And in the case of a misbehaving fullscreen application, perhaps the shell should allow the user to super tab focus to the panel.
Yeah, sounds like a reasonable way to handle that case.
This is fixed now. I tried with a single full screen window, hung it, and I was able to super+tab to the weston panel
