System froze when direct rendering enabled Steps to reproduce the bug 1. check out Mesa cvs and xorg cvs 2. checkout libdrm CVS 3. Compile Xorg, with the mesa source dir pointing to checkout'ed Mesa 4. Install Xorg 5. Install Mesa cvs 6. Run any GL app, say glxgears, with root(other users are not permitted to open DRM, so no problem) 7. close the app. Actual Result: System froze and the Caps and Scroll lights on keybord begin to plinkle. Expected Result: Close the app correctly. Please post your xorg.conf and your xorg log. If possible please log in from a remote computer, attach gdb to the X process and post the backtrace.

It was my fault that DRM wasn't CVS version, as CVS version can't compile against linux 2.6.9. After I managed to install DRM CVS, it works.
Fixed.
