Problem description: I can't open a Microsoft Office Document with Libreoffice whithout start LibreOffice: LibreOffice is not available in the function "Open With" of Windows. Steps to reproduce: 1. Click Right on a Microsoft Office Document (.doc, .xls ...) 2. LibreOffice is not in the propose choices, even if we go into Program Files to select the launcher. Thank you for this program and I wish you will delete this bug ! Operating System: Windows XP Version: 4.0.1.2 release

Hi, I have already try this way but LibreOffice is not in the list of programs even if I select myself the program (browse...). Oh okay, I'm sorry for that. I can't reproduce this behavior, because I have not windows XP to test with ... I think we need to wait for a tester with Windows XP which can reproduce this behavior. Thanks for reporting it anyway! Kind regards, Joren

LibO 4.0.2 is available in the "Open With" of my Windows XP 32bit version (and Vista 64bit and Win7 64bit as well). try upgrading to this version and tell us if you still see that issue.
Yes, it happens. Most likely it caused by wrong paths in "HKCU\Software\Classes\Applications\<sappname>.exe\shell\open\command" due to the folder name changed during the upgrade.
