Not sure. I'll see about installing OpenSuSe. Thanks for the fullscreen shot, it does look like the default window blur that goes wrong. Can you please paste the output of glxinfo?
Funny is that it only happens to terminals sized 80x42 :D. The other kind of corruption is on 80x37. There only the bottom is twice as high. No corruptions on the sides.

The bug can't be reproduced on G45 machine. Quite a few changes recently (well except in mesa ;-) would be good to have a retest on current kernel and sna. Thanks.
