Dualdisplay bug.

Hello,

with radeon driver and mesa in version 9.1.1 I have problem with switching display between notebook and external display in KDE 4.10.2 with kwin_gles compositor in compositing type OpenGL.

Setting dual display (left/right/above) or switching between displays, causes broken screen. Please, check attached screenshot.

Downgrading to mesa version 9.0.2 solve this problem.

With intel GPU/Driver is everything OK.

KDE version 4.10.2
GPU: ATI x1400, driver - radeon
Kernel: 3.8.7
mesa version: 9.1.1
ati-dri version: 9.1.1

Please attach your xorg log and dmesg output. I suspect this may be related to bug 61182.

I must say that I don't have any problem with kwin (but kwin is too slow for me). This bug is present only when I'am using kwin_gles.

Maybe this bug: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61600 is like this one, but, for intel driver.

Parts of dmesg and full Xorg.0.log attached.

FWIW, there is no inherent reason why kwin using full OpenGL should be slower than kwin_gles, but there is a kwin bug where it uses MSAA when it shouldn't. Supposedly that's fixed in current current kwin snapshots.

Hello,
