Description Michael Bauer 2013-04-27 23:52:05 UTC
I'm running version 4.0.2.2 in Scottish Gaelic (gd) on Win 7 and I have a strange problem. Even though I have a variety of proofing tools installed (e.g. spellchecking for German, Gaelic and English (UK)), only Gaelic and German are accessible, either via the language tab at the bottom of the editing screen in Writer or via the Tools > Language menu.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the English (UK) dictionary off the extensions site but even though the extensions manager tells me its there (along with French), neither English nor French are available as languages for the document nor can I run the spellcheck in those languages.

Selecting the language for the text and proofing works ok for the other two so I think this is a bug.

Please check if correct language modules are installed and enabled in Tools>Options>Language Settings>Writing Aids.

One of the updates since 4.0.2.2 seems to have fixed this issue.
