All three figures have a subtittle, but one of them is not showed.

A document (.odt) with figures and subtittles. Some subtittles are not showed (randomly) when the document is opened. Writer crashes when any of the figures without the subtittle is clicked on.

Would it be possible you attach the odt file so we can try to reproduce this?
Could you attach a backtrace (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport#How_to_get_a_backtrace_on_Linux)?

Odt file that causes the crash

Some times Writer opens the file with all the subtittles, in which cases there is no crash.

I'm not sure about what you call "subtitle", if this is it:
FIGURA 8: Erro quadrático médio do desempenho dos participantes dos grupos OB e PN, durante os testes de transferência, em cada uma das velocidades do Alvo. As barras de erro indicam o erro padrão da média.
I can see the 8 subtitles.

I put back Unconfirmed since I've got no more questions.

Joren: would you have some time to give it a try? (Perhaps I missed something obvious).

@Julien: thanks for the ping

I also can not reproduce a crash when clicking on any image in the file. I only see images with a caption (subtitle), so maybe we don't see all images?

Tested using Linux Mint 14 x64 with LibreOffice Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha1+
Build ID: 94fdd5d302e34220a0b1beaf3610658d15c7b80

@Bug reporter: Is it possible to reset your user profile (guide: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resetting_the_user_profile). Can you still reproduce this crashes?

Kind regards,
Joren

The document has 8 images and 8 captions. I can open it without any problem using Libreoffice 3.6.
Even when I reset my profile I can still reproduce the crash in two different computers (work and home) using Libreoffice 4.0.2.2. Would it have any relationship with an extension that I use for reference management (Zotero)?
Comment 8 Julien Nabet 2013-05-10 18:31:34 UTC
Flavio: Indeed, you could give a try with Zotero disabled
Comment 9 Flavio 2013-05-10 18:41:12 UTC
Even disabling Zotero I can still reproduce the crash.
Comment 10 Julien Nabet 2013-05-10 18:49:29 UTC
Ok, it seems there are no more questions so put it at NEW (since there's a bt).

Cédric/Michael: one for you?

I reproduce the crash under Xubuntu 12.04 x86-64 with LibreOffice 4.0.3 but not with LO 4.0.4.0+ (Build ID: 828221dd980d4243788a1cab251e1c901a696d4).

I got the crash by double-clicking on the last picture whose caption was not visible. All captions are visible when the file is opened by LO 4.0.4.0+ and double-clicking on each picture works as expected (opens the picture dialog).

Best regards. JBF

Reported fails in 4.0.3 and ok in 4.0.4. Works fine for me in 4-2 onwards, I suspect this was fixed by http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=ff7eb03c4ad1027eb7dbcac73858f726ae558915
