We need the i915_error_state for these. Can you please grab both snb and ivb error states?

What are those exactly?
Comment 5 Chris Wilson 2013-05-07 08:23:37 UTC
Just want to compare the i915_error_state from both snb/ivb to see what similarities they have. The first from ivb is very worrisome...
Comment 6 Chris Wilson 2013-05-07 08:31:28 UTC
Oh sna not snb. Sorry, my bad.
Comment 7 Jiri Slaby 2013-05-07 08:34:29 UTC
BTW FWIW I got an order-9 slab allocation failure when trying to dump the state from seq_read's kmalloc. So there might have been an allocation failure somewhere in the driver which lead to this state or maybe not... 8-)
Comment 8 Jiri Slaby 2013-05-07 08:36:34 UTC
Ahh, I copy&pasted the title of the bug, it was not instantly after resume... But it was after resume after all.
Comment 9 Chris Wilson 2013-05-07 08:42:51 UTC
This is garbage:

Instructions to reproduce?
Comment 11 Ben Widawsky 2014-12-19 19:29:48 UTC
Please try to reproduce with the latest drm-intel-nightly kernel, mesa, libdrm, and xf86-video-intel

I haven't seen it since then I think. I have only one-year-old logs and no traces of this.
