I created a long presentation, then I saved and exported to PDF.
When I reloaded on an another computer with same version I got a document with rainbow colored background.
I attacheching the original doc in PDF (for reference), the problematic part only bugdoc and pdf export of bugdoc.

I can confirm that exporting attachment 79749 [details] as pdf produces same behavior, but more colorful (see attached file)

I had the same issue after saving a .pptx file as .odp and then opening the .odp. What is it with Impress that it always mangles backgrounds and images in .pptx files? Writer at least either saves nothing (when saving to .docx) or it saves the image on the wrong place, but it never corrupts images this way, specially when saving to opendocument.

WORKSFORME.

OS !0.9 + LO 4.2b2 + Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 5e01904de993caa3d497a8f6c82a846336e70eef
TinderBox: MacOSX-x86@49-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2013-12-06_02:05:01

The documents opens with very wired colors though in LO 4.1.3.2.

So please test this with LO 4.2b2 and above. If this still happens with those version feel free to re-open.
