Description Mark Czubin 2006-04-18 01:25:08 UTC
When using switcher, only the last window which got selected in the switcher
will popup in front.
But if you enabling the option "bring to front" then the Z-order of the windows
get messed up.

I mean when you're browsing with switcher then all the windows you went through
got a different order. So instead of only the last selected window to be on top
, the whole Z-order got changed.

to reproduce: open three overlapping windows. and press alt-tab twice.
You'll notice the the window who was on top is now on the bottom.

details:
gconf-> compiz-> plugins-> switcher-> screen0->options: bring_to_front

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.

I'm unable to reproduce this today. Please re-open this on bugs.opencompositing.org if you still see this in Compiz 0.8.0 or newer.
