Description Nikoli 2013-07-24 17:31:44 UTC
With FOSS radeon driver kwin crashes after unlocking session when it was locked for several (8-10) hours. If it was locked only for several minutes it will not crash. Sometimes it does not crash even when locked for hours. No 3D apps are working until X is restarted.

Is this a regression? Did kwin work properly with an older kernel or mesa? If so, can you narrow down what component caused the problem and then bisect?
Comment 6 Nikoli 2013-07-24 18:27:02 UTC
No, not regression. Older mesa and kernels had same problem.
