Description Denis Jacquerye 2006-05-02 04:59:03 UTC
I am requesting a bugzilla infrastructure for the DejaVu Fonts project
(http://dejavu.sourceforge.net).

The DejaVu fonts are a font family based on the Bitstream Vera Fonts release
1.10. Its purpose is to provide a wider range of characters while maintaining
the original look and feel through the process of collaborative development. The
family is available as TrueType fonts and also as third-party packages for
various operating systems including handhelds.

The project already has a website (Wiki), a mailing list and SVN, all provided
by sourceforge.net. Unfortunately many people are not happy with the bugtracker.
Since fonts are platform and environment independent freedesktop.org seems to be
the best place to have a bugzilla for the project.

Thank you.

sure, I guess. can you provide me with a list of components, and default
assignees for same?
Comment 2 Denis Jacquerye 2006-06-05 13:48:21 UTC
Sweet. Here are the modules:
* 'general', for bugs in all typefaces
non experimental fonts:
* 'Sans'
* 'Mono Sans'
* 'Serif'
And the fifth module,
* 'Experimental fonts'

For assignees we were thinking about having a dejavu-bugs@sf.net mailling list
but sf.net is currently incapable of adding new lists.
If you can, we can have a mailing list here too :)
On top of the list, assignees for all modules can be benlaenen AT gmail.com,
moyogo AT gmail.com and ogi who's CCed here.

Thanks
