Focus behavior is a difficult topic, I'm aware. I just think that letting
windows steal focus is to say the least: a questionable feature.

One of my favorite arguments against is the one where you're about to type in
your pw to start an ssh-session, while at the same time you receive a message on
icq using gaim. Gaim windows gets focus and and if you dont't notice that,
you're pw ends up being sent to whoever wrote you on icq. A thing which should
not be possible due to automatic behavior.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.

Compiz HEAD now has a focus stealing prevention match that allows to configure which windows should not steal focus.
